Guys, it’s December 14th and all I want to do is bake cookies, watch Home Alone, listen to Nat King Cole and go ice skating in the park. Who’s with me!?
But some of us have a few more days of work left before posting that “CYA IN 2017” OOO. Let’s instead discuss what holiday style you’ll be flaunting at the many parties that you’ll be attending over the next three weeks. I suggest, you try to work some rendition of the above. A backless, ribbed turtleneck and velvet blazer really deserve to be in your holiday style party scheme. I’m feeling the color pink right now — in a big way. I’m also, REALLY into velvet this holiday season. So this unstructured blazer is speaking my language. And since sometimes doing less really is best, I paired said blazer with high-rise mom jeans. I’ve been absolutely living in this pair by GRLFRND denim recently. They are the perfect every day jean – which means you basically can’t live without them.
Now, while you’re going through the rolodex of holiday wardrobe items you can mix and match.. I’ll be making lists of cookies that I want to bake with my earbuds in and volume on high.
Merry merry! xx
