So if you haven’t yet seen these sandals, welcome to a very happy land where all of the accessories jingle and induce smiles. These Greek sandals by Elina Linardaki are for sure out there in the fashion bubble in a big way. There have been quite a few look-a-likes popping up this summer (i.e. these, these and these). BUT I’m going to make an argument for the real deal, because, just *look* at them. They are beyond stellar. Aside from just plainly looking like summer, they are the type of accessory that take any outfit to the next level. Which is pretty great. Also, there is something to say for the authenticity of being handmade in Greece. Ya know what I mean? You do, I know it.

Ok moving on from the shoes.

You guys, Fourth of July is THIS WEEK. Which is why I have wrapped myself in blue and white stripes in the above photos: in preparation. Preparation for my favorite time of the year in my favorite place. I should clarify and say one of my favorite times of the year, because if you know me at all, you know I’m pretty passionate about all of the seasons. But summer and I have a special relationship. Summer in New England is like the best first date you’ve ever had. You never want it to end and it’s so good it gives you butterflies. (You may need to use your imagination for that last metaphor — but work with me here). Anyways, grab your Elina Linardaki Penny Lane kicks and get out there, you guys, it’s all happening.

Happy pride, happy summer and happy almost Fourth of July!
