There is something about a jumpsuit.
I’m not sure whether it’s the literal ease that they lend to dressing or the effortlessness that those wearing them seem to exude… for me, the right jumpsuit has the intangible “it” factor. They make me think: “Yup, I need to wear that. Now.”
This black jumpsuit is one of my favorites right now. It can be worn to so many different occasions without looking out of place (like the person who shows up to a backyard BBQ looking like they came straight from a black tie wedding and didn’t have time to change for fear of missing out on the fan favorite hors d’oeuvres). Because, let’s be honest, no one likes looking like that person (and we all have looked like that AT LEAST once before). But this jumpsuit just seems to work – I wore it to my brother’s engagement party a few weeks ago – dressed up with black heels and layers of jewels – (much like how I did above) and I also wore it running errands over the weekend – dressed down with sandals and a jean jacket. I mean… can you say versatile? Perhaps that’s it – the sheer versatility. Maybe that’s what has reignited my love for jumpsuits recently.
Happy Monday people!
