Nope, it’s not over yet — winter, that is. News flash people: it’s still February, which means next month is March. And in the land of NYC, March means winter. So despite this weekend’s blissfully mild weather, we haven’t seen the last of winter yet. But don’t be sad, this just means our winter clothes have a little more time center stage before being shoved in the back of our closets come spring and summer. Ahhh sweet summertime: weekends on Nantucket, long dinners that pour outside onto the streets of the village, tan lines and sunscreen.
But I digress. Winter weather means sweater weather. And since I’m fairly certain I’m not the only one who is bored to tears of puffy parkas, why not wrap your body in cashmere and top it off with a fur (or faux fur) vest? Functional and warm without going down the puffy parka route.
Annnnd it gets better — want to know my favorite thing about a good sweater, like the cashmere-side-slit-iteration I’m wearing above? They are the kind of uber sexy that aren’t technically sexy but really are super sexy. Right?
Sweaters give the appearance of effortless style – like oh, this? I just jumped out of bed this morning and threw on my favorite sweater because, it’s my favorite sweater. Sweaters are effortless, sexy and comfy. Sweaters are the best, you guys.
Have a good week, wear lots of sweaters. xx
