I stumbled upon a photo of this mural recently which, coincidentally, was done on one of my favorite local pizza spots, L’asso. I immediately had to go and check it out.
Artist Bradley Theodore started painting because he felt that NYC had “lost its sense of community and love of art.” That he shared his talent for all of us to enjoy as New Yorkers should definitely be celebrated. In this particular mural, I especially love how Anna Wintour and Karl Lagerfeld are unmistakably depicted through their hairstyles. Go check out this mural on Kenmare and Mott – it certainly will not disappoint.
The juxtaposition of the neutral color blocking of this look and the riot of colors on the mural is what drew me to this outfit. The high shine heels paired with waxed super skinny jeans and the perfect color blocked leather jacket allow for a full impact fierce look. Wearing a few of my favorite Belliza Knight jewels – my crystal dagger necklace and my pyrite ring – I felt pretty invincible.
