I recently saw a photo of this view of the Manhattan bridge down in Dumbo and it immediately went on my bucket list of places to go. Over the weekend, I went to check it out and the bridges were surrounded by fog. At first I was disappointed I wasn’t seeing the crystal clear view from the photo, but the bridge looming in the fog was pretty magical. If you live new New York, I highly recommend heading to Brooklyn and making a day out of it. When I went to Dumbo, I checked out both the Manhattan and the Brooklyn bridges – there are tons of little shops and restaurants to hop into along the way. I would recommend Grimaldi’s pizza because it really does live up to the hype.
Ok, onto this look: these high waisted jeans are a in permanent rotation in my wardrobe. The super high rise shows the perfect amount of skin with an exaggerated cropped top – like this black sweater version I am wearing. A moderately cropped top just skims the top of the jeans making them unpredictably versatile. And there is something about over-the-knee boots. They add just the right amount of kick to any look – am I right!?
