Denim cut offs (or rather unflatteringly, but also known as, jorts) are a wardrobe staple that I have been dying to dig out of my closet since they were banished there sometime late-September (along with all other beach appropriate and summer friendly attire). I know, I know, it’s only April. But enough is enough. I am over dressing with uncertainty for this kinda-almost-warm-but-mostly-coolish weather. So with this look, my legs are ready for a week in St. Barths and my top half is ready to sip hot cocoa in the ski lodge in Aspen. But I am neither sweltering or shivering which is a truly glorious accomplishment. That is the best thing about this look: it is actually weather appropriate for the I-can’t-make-up-my-mind weather transition or non-transition that is spring in NYC.

Happy Wednesday, people. Keep those chins up, the weekend, like summer, is just around the corner! xx
